What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce data analyses, conversions, and cartographic models to support renewable energy project development
- Provide consultation and tailor GIS products to meet the specific needs of projects
- Coordinate the acquisition or creation of new spatial data and integrate it into the organization's GIS
- Optimize spatial analyses and project workflows while ensuring data quality
- Diagnose and troubleshoot GIS-related issues and support other GIS users across the company
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical discipline from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with the ESRI suite of applications and other GIS applications
- Certification or demonstrated ability to design and administer geodatabases and relational databases
- Field data collection experience with tools such as Collector for ArcGIS and Survey123
- Exceptional planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience plotting property boundaries from metes and bounds descriptions using COGO
- Ability to work proactively and productively with limited supervision
- Passion for renewable energy and commitment to high standards of ethics and quality
