What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and maintain GIS data, maps, ArcGIS Online web maps, and reports
- Edit water, sewer, and stormwater data from plans, drawings, and field collection
- Collaborate with engineers and senior GIS staff to meet project deadlines
- Perform quality control checks and support database maintenance
- Continuously learn new GIS skills and processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in the field of GIS
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related tools)
- BA, BS, or AAS in GIS, Geography, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with large relational databases; experience with Spatial Database Engine (SDE) is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ESRI Certification
- GISP Certification
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro Software
- GIS Application Experience including Model Builder, Web App Builder, basic Python, Experience Builder, Field Maps, or Survey 123 within the ArcGIS Online Platform
