What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Senior GIS Analyst in maintaining data consistency across systems like AZ360 (HRM) and AZ360 (Financial)
- Engage with internal and external customers to understand functional GIS project requirements
- Perform complex spatial analysis and build spatial data models
- Produce data layers, maps, and reports using GIS technology
- Maintain and update GIS tools and applications for ongoing use
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Advanced GIS software training, particularly in modeling and database integration
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and analyze complex geospatial data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- GIS certification such as GISP (GIS Professional)
- Experience in query tuning and troubleshooting within GIS systems
- Proven ability to create engaging reports for multiple audiences
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and remediation of GIS server applications
- Experience working collaboratively in teams across various organizations
