      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support inter-departmental projects through problem analysis, solution design, and task execution
      - Develop and deliver GIS data, analysis, and visualizations for various County departments
      - Create web-based and mobile applications using Esri ArcGIS tools for County departments
      - Maintain and operate the County's enterprise GIS systems and applications
      - Integrate GIS with local government business systems to streamline workflows and improve data insights

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, or closely related field
      - Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing and analyzing GIS data and developing GIS applications using Esri ArcGIS software
      - At least two (2) years of experience in project management involving GIS analysis, data visualization, and data management
      - Knowledge of GIS principles, advanced mapping techniques, and geodatabase management
      - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with SQL, Python/ArcPy scripting for process improvement and automation
      - Familiarity with AGILE project management principles
      - Previous experience in local government GIS projects
      - Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex land-based data system issues
      - Experience with GIS-related hardware and software procurement and system development
