What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with park biologists to organize invasive plant management spatial and treatment data
- Utilize GIS and database software to migrate data into a condensed usable format
- Develop GIS-based spatial analyses to assess vegetation changes over time
- Assist in creating maps, reports, and presentations to support decision-making processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, and database management
- BS degree in GIS or Natural Resource Management
- U.S. citizen or U.S. legal permanent resident
- Valid driver's license for government vehicle operation
- Availability for a 12-week internship
