What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, manage, and delegate tasks for GIS projects from proposal to delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Prepare and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Supervise and mentor team members, supporting their career development
- Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure technical standards are met
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of GIS
- At least 5 years of project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of GIS-related software, products, and services (e.g., Esri, ArcGIS Online)
- Strong leadership and project management skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities
