      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support GIS workload to ensure productivity goals are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
      - Collaborate with project managers and other GIS specialists in a team-oriented environment
      - Maintain high quality of work consistent with the employer's standards and practices
      - Utilize Esri ArcGIS Pro for data management, production, editing, and spatial analytics
      - Provide technical support for mobile data collection systems and follow best practices in data management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of a GIS certificate
      - At least one (1) year of professional GIS experience beyond university attendance
      - Demonstrated knowledge of cartography and computer mapping principles
      - Strong understanding of topological relationships and proficiency with complex data sets
      - Experience with GPS technology and field data collection techniques

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, Environmental Science, or related field with an emphasis in GIS
      - A minimum of two (2) years of professional GIS work experience
      - Experience with fire management projects
      - Knowledge of Python, .NET, Java, PHP, and/or HTML
      - Familiarity with wildfire resource management and federal land agencies
