What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, configure, and implement complex IT and GIS systems to meet client needs
- Install, configure, maintain, and support Enterprise GIS software and hardware
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and security protocols
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Document procedures and maintain clear technical documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in system administration
- Minimum of 5+ years of GIS experience with the ESRI suite of software
- Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure and AWS
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the transportation, water, or energy industries
- Applicable ESRI, AWS, or Azure certifications; willingness to obtain certifications
- Knowledge and experience with SQL Server and Oracle administration
- Experience deploying geoprocessing services
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools
