- For creating and developing a team of talented people with a high business acumen and appetite for transformation journey
- For defining and deploying the global category strategy and execution for the EM Solids Technology perimeter across all CHC Industrial Affairs and CHC Commercial Operations in accordance with Science Hub and CSO and brand strategies, and in line with Sanofi Code of Conduct, values and ethical charter
- For driving savings journey thanks to all procurement levers and Design to Value program, procurement development and improvement initiatives jointly with Business: life cycle management, COGS improvement initiatives, products launches/switches
- For enabling an e2e consistent/innovative/fruitful development of CHC categories
- Implement & execute competitive and innovative Procurement Technology strategies on Solids
- Based on Procurement CHC EM market intelligence: assessing risks and opportunities
- Budget & Strategic Plan fully aligned with Business while delivering added value
- Deliver world class total savings objectives
- Contribute to the E2E make of buy strategy focusing on the Solids technology
- Develop strong relationship with associated Procurement functions (“RemainCo”) and Business Partners (IA – Global Growth Hub - Global Science Hub – Finance – Supply Chain – BD&L)
- Define, implement, and monitor performance KPIs
- Drive the development of new market opportunities (new suppliers, technologies, substitution products, etc.) aligned with the Procurement EM intelligence and category strategy
- Integrate sustainability into projects and business decisions
- Implement and execute e2e procurement relevant strategy to support CHC brands growth and gross margin
- Ensure Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Risk Management, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality, etc.)
- Lead negotiations for her/his portfolio of CMOs
- Ensure compliance with master service agreements and/or specific contracts in place
- Ensure that terms and conditions of master service agreements and/or specific contracts, including the Quality Technical agreement (QTA) and sustainability requirements (BCorp) are met by all parties in the contract
- Monitor the contract life cycle and proactively manage negotiation phases with involved operational teams (i) in the set-up of a contract or (ii) request of quotation (RFQ) related to the supplier panel
- Ensure that risk management assessment and risk mitigation strategies are in place in close collaboration with the Business
- Set-Up and Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program for the key CMOs for her/his panel
- Coordinate vendor innovation management
- Build and ensure collaborative Business Partnering across the Business Unit internally and across the Supplier/CMO network
- Build and maintain strong interfaces and collaborations with other departments like finance, legal, regulatory, business development, licensing, and alliances & partnerships on top of main stakeholder management (Science HUB, IA, CSO, Growth Hub, Quality and Regulatory teams)
- Spend: ~ 70 M€ p.a.
- Complexity: Global/12 CMOs/12 Contracts/300 SKUs/annual savings: 3 m€
- Stakeholders: Science HUB, Growth Hub IA, CSO, Quality and Regulatory teams
- Contribution to CHC GBU: Current revenue impact ~250 M€
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business or another relevant field. An MBA preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Procurement role with proven record in term of change management and result delivery - plus experience in Consumer Health Care or FMCG
- Solid understanding of both Procurement and Operations; a combination of functional experiences in both Manufacturing and SCM as well as Procurement would be ideal
- Experience in market intelligence
- Experience in implementing Procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, etc.) including design & deployment is a benefit
- Fluent in English
- Plus: French and any other language
- International and multi-cultural mindset
- Leadership skills/experience with proven track record in building and leading cross functional teams
- Strong capability to manage business and interact with executive level: internal stakeholders, Suppliers and complex environment
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Solid understanding in Cost management, budgeting and controlling - ability to understand and explain an Industrial P&L to pilot financial performance
- Highly effective communication & leadership skills to engage/motivate/lead teams
- Strongly continuous improvement oriented
- Strong business acumen and ability to build sustainable business connectivity
- Solid listening and communication skills
- Capability to manage business at executive level: internal stakeholders and suppliers

Ensure that global performance meets expectations on fundamentals HSE/Sustainability, Quality, Sanofi Manufacturing System, Supply) while carrying out strategic initiatives/projects according to plans (life cycle management, COGS improvement initiatives, products launches/switches, talent attraction and retention, development). Be fully embedded in cross functional team to enabling Excellence in Execution
