- Subject Matter Expert leading the team's technical support for FoS including: Common Operational Picture (COP), Integrated Imagery and Intelligence (I3), NEWSGROUP Servers for Join Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), IA and Client/Server installation, and Theater Ballistic Missile Defense (TBMD) and various subsystems.
- Provides management, system administration, planning, and operational support for all Command and Control (C2) servers and client assets including LINUX and UNIX operating systems environment.
- Responsible for periodic reports (Weekly Activity Report on GCCS activities, and quarterly report on COOP capabilities)
- Manages/oversees administration of GCCS FoS assets at HQ CENTCOM and deployed units.
- Conducts GCCS acquisition planning activities to include upgrades, enhancements, and replacement of software and hardware.
- Performs Configuration Management and Project Management and ensure IA compliance for all CENTCOM GCCS FoS assets.
- TS/SCI Eligible Clearance required
- DoD 8570 Baseline IAT-II level certification.
- Demonstrated technical and management experience with GCCS and C2 systems integration.
- Demonstrated experience in systems administration in a LINUX and UNIX operating systems environment.
- Demonstrated experience with major platform migrations to upgrade legacy systems.
- Demonstrated experience with systems architecture development.
- Demonstrated experience with IT acquisition planning.
- Demonstrated experience with the design and implementation of a COOP capability.
- Demonstrated experience with test and evaluation plans for major releases of software and upgrade of existing hardware.
- Experience with Shared Early Warning System (SEWS).
!*!Jacobs is looking for a highly-motivated Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Lead to serve as a leader within the J6 Directorate of USCENTCOM. This is a supervisory role with management responsibility over a workforce of approximately 10 contractor personnel. The GCCS Lead is responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of the GCCS and related Family of System (FoS) environment at the HQ USCENTCOM and CENTCOM Forward Headquarters. The GCCS Task Lead is the interface between USCENTCOM and the GCCS program management office.
Program Mission:
USCENTCOM C4 Enterprise Support. Jacobs provides Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Enterprise Support (C4ES) to the J6 Directorate (CCJ6) of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, and its forward Headquarters located in Qatar. The C4ES program provides CCJ6 with enterprise IT support services including the ability to share information anytime and anywhere through a Network-Centric Environment that is flexible, redundant, reliable, secure, and protected.
