      We are seeking a Global Commercial Director (m/f/d) for our Mobility cluster spanning across Interior, Exterior, and e-Powertrain & Under the Bonnet, to lead our ambition to pioneer a more sustainable future for mobility.

      Your mission is to optimize the value derived from our current and future portfolio by implementing a dynamic Global Market Participation strategy (GPMS) across different application markets. Take charge of core and growth applications, steering the Polyolefins (PO) transformation for Circular Economy Solutions, Value-Added Growth, and Geographical Expansion in accordance with the PO Strategy 2035.

      Through strategic customer contracting, strategy, and execution, you will bear the responsibility of Clean Sales Margin accountability. Ultimately, you will lead a formidable team across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, which encompasses Application Development and Technical Service, while fostering global collaboration and connections with our joint venture partners in the USA & UAE.

      Your responsibilities as Global Commercial Director Mobility will include:

      • Aligning with the PO Strategy 2035, drive the fulfillment of investment requirements for the cluster through both organic and inorganic means, including mergers and acquisitions, and provide leadership oversight for the integration of value-added growth M&A.
      • Oversee people management activities, fostering an inclusive culture of growth, development, and collaboration within the team.
      • Lead the Sales & Marketing team, ensuring cohesive strategies and effective execution to meet and exceed commercial objectives.
      • Collaborate closely with the Product Asset Management team to align commercial strategies with product development and lifecycle management.
      • Shoulder the responsibility of driving and defining new, organic business development initiatives in growth sectors / geographies as specified by the GMPS.
      • Lead the promotion & marketing of the cluster’s offering across the value chain, defining value propositions & competitive positioning.
      • Steer and sponsor Global Market Participation Strategies and its execution.
      • Direct business management at a regional and global level across all commercial functions; from pipeline generation and management to sales execution including customer contracts
      • Drive regional and global marketing to achieve alignment between strategic regional targets, insights, execution, and impact.

      About you

      If you possess the following competences, skills, and attitudes, you can excel in this exciting role.

      • 15+ years relevant working experience in both marketing & sales although another combination of commercial roles will be considered.
      • Deep understanding of and experience with market dynamics and influencing factors that drive demand, profitability & innovations.
      • Strong grasp of products and applications from both technical and commercial standpoints.
      • Mastery of strategic marketing, sales, and commercial excellence, demonstrating leadership in managing change, profound customer insights and accountability.
      • Demonstrated global experience and exposure to multiple industry markets.
      • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and engage with various internal & external stakeholders in a global business setting.
