      Our service offering covers a full suite of compliance services including financial statement preparation and related filings, dual bookkeeping, direct and indirect tax and statistical returns.

      A look into the role


      As an Assistant Manager within our GCRS team, you will:

      • Collaborate on large international projects.
      • Support Managers and Associate Directors to manage and motivate a team of Project Co-ordinators, providing regular coaching, driving productivity and ensuring quality.
      • Work within a multi-jurisdictional tax compliance team, managing client timelines and reviews.
      • Ensure accuracy in all documentation and presentations, eg. format of financial statements, VAT returns, corporation tax returns, language etc.
      • Expand your internal network at Grant Thornton and support creation of new relationships, and revenue streams across the Group.

      Knowing you’re right for us

      Joining us as a GCRS Assistant Manager the minimum criteria you’ll need is an accounting or tax background and be able to produce a well-supported piece of technical research. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

      • A continuous improvement mindset, ensuring we constantly adapt and deliver best in class, tailored solutions to our clients.
      • Be confident in project management, able to juggle multiple deliverables across multiple services lines and jurisdictions.
      • Ideally have experience of tax compliance, perhaps operating in a multi-jurisdictional financial reporting function.
      • Perhaps you speak multiple languages – our multilingual team is always looking to further enhance our ability to provide personal local advice to clients around the world.
