      JOB SUMMARY:

      The Global Compliance Investigations Manager will be responsible for assisting with the management and execution of the Dentsply Sirona Ethics Hotline and internal investigation program, as well as supporting confidential internal investigations on behalf of Dentsply Sirona. This position will be responsible for working closely and collaboratively with legal, compliance, finance, HR and IT team members in the global and regional teams, as well as managing outside counsel and external investigation-related vendors and consultants.

      This position will report directly to the Director, Global Compliance Investigations Counsel, based in the United States. This position will also be based in the United States, either at one of Dentsply Sirona’s US locations or work remotely.

      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Manages Dentsply Sirona’s Ethics Hotline.
      • Provides case management support for all hotline and non-hotline complaints received by Dentsply Sirona from intake through to completion, including but not limited to: initial case assessment, triage and assignment; documentation of the complaint in the hotline (e.g., intake for non-hotline complaints, case assignment, case status updates, closure summary, outcome and final report); communication with the reporter and key stakeholders.
      • Supports the execution of internal investigations, including but not limited to: data preservation, collection, review and analysis; interviews; development of findings and proposed remediation; creation of final investigation report.
      • Actively participates in investigations handled by outside counsel, including regular contact with outside counsel, auditors, consultants, and vendors.
      • Develops reports, metrics, and other materials as needed for regular updates to a variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to the VP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, the Global Ethics & Compliance Leadership Team, the Ethics & Compliance Committee, the Management Committee and/or Audit & Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
      • Oversees and track the implementation of remediation plans from initiation to completion, including policy changes to address potential compliance issues identified through investigations.
      • Develops and coordinate training to relevant employees on internal investigations.
      • Develops and implements compliance policies, procedures and guidance concerning investigations, remediation, and related issues, with an emphasis on general guidance designed to address or avoid similar issues in the future.
      • Supports internal and external audits and risk assessments of Dentsply Sirona’s businesses .
      • Performs other duties as assigned or as needed

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required.

      Experience

      • 4-6+ years’ investigative experience, either in-house or at a firm.
      • Expe rience in the life sciences/healthcare/medical device industry preferred.

      Specific Knowledge & Skills

      • Knowledge of best practices associated with document collection and production; management and review of electronic documents; preparation for, and execution of, witness interviews; and remediation implementation.
      • Experience supporting in-house legal department or Litigation/Investigations practice area in law firm environment or comparable federal/state enforcement authority.
      • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different functions.
      • Solid analytical and project management skills with the ability to respond to complex challenges with innovative solutions.
      • Organized and detail oriented, with a high degree of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
      • Highly motivated self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints; must possess a positive, can-do attitude and show enthusiasm.
      • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and work as part of a team, able to build relationships across and outside the department.
      • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience at multiple levels within the company through various formats.
      • Must be fluent in English; foreign language skills strongly preferred, but not required.
      • Ability to travel as required (estimated to be 25%).
