Job Description

- You will work directly with our distressed and loan traders and the broader Loans & Distressed Desk Analyst team
- Identify compelling trade opportunities
- Engage with the desk’s clients
- Manage risk
- Candidate must have experience (5-7 years) investing in credit markets, preferably with experience in distressed credit & restructurings
- The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter who is able to work independently and is also comfortable being part of a larger team
- Valuation and credit analysis experience, including strong business analysis and cash flow modeling skills
- Mature personality to enable direct client interaction, confident presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on tight, evolving deadlines
- Experience in restructuring / loan documentation / legal frameworks is desirable
- Deep industry expertise and past experience investing in one or more of the following industries is desirable: Healthcare, Retail, Building Products, Financials / Real Estate
The North America Credit Trading franchise is a leading market maker in credit and securitized products, derivatives, loans, and corporate bonds. Traders, sales people, and desk analysts work collectively to generate ideas and make secondary markets in high grade/high yield bonds/CDS, CLOs, distressed bonds, loans, trade claims, indices, exotics, and illiquid credits.
