      Job Summary:

      Global Custody Asset Servicing is responsible for managing all corporate and income related events across all asset classes for collections, announcement capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion and payment processing, claims management, As a member of the Operational Readiness team you will play a senior role in strategic implementations for the department, ensuring seamless technology rollouts to minimize risk to the department.

      Job Responsibilities:


      ⦁ Triage technical issues for Asset Services systems before working with technology partners to resolve items
      ⦁ Investigate and resolve non-technical issues (e.g. profile, rules, static & reference data etc.)
      ⦁ Represent operations in defining the priority of change for Asset Services systems. Work with operations, testing team and technology groups to define, document and agree the test approach and strategy
      ⦁ Assist in requirements definition and specifications for changes, mitigation or fixes, in partnership with technology and operations
      ⦁ Provide regular status reporting to relevant business areas. Build strong working relationships with technology and operations to succeed in delivery
      ⦁ On a daily basis, ensure both inbound and outbound Asset Services messages and instructions are sent to the correct destination in a timely manner
      ⦁ Ensure clear well documented communication between partner teams within prescribed timeframes.

      Required qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


      ⦁ Financial Services background essential, ideally within a Custody or Investment Bank Corporate Actions environment.
      ⦁ Successful performance in a risk-based environment with a proven track record of risk reduction.
      ⦁ Results based experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking, including root cause analysis
      ⦁ Track record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing new processes efficiently.
      ⦁ Experience of communicating both oral and written to management, clients and colleagues


      Preferred qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


      ⦁ Relevant degree education preferred, however, non degree candidates with a proven track record in a similar role will be considered.
      ⦁ Experience of testing / delivering Asset Servicing operating systems / platforms preferred (Experience of TCS BaNCS advantageous)
      ⦁ Proficient in Microsoft Office
      ⦁ Previous experience of team development and management
