      Job Description

      The myCHEP Global Business Data Insights Specialist will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting data from our online transaction platform (myCHEP) on a global scale, providing valuable insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and enhance user experiences across diverse markets and regions.

      Key accountabilities

      • Global Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources, including transactional records, user behaviour, and platform performance metrics from different regions and countries. Employ statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful insights.
      • Assumption Generation: Leverage data analysis to formulate directional assumptions and hypotheses about the platform's performance, user engagement, and overall business outcomes globally. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across diverse markets.
      • Global Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key insights to stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and marketing teams in various regions.
      • Global Performance Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the platform's success and progress towards strategic goals on a global scale. Continuously evaluate and improve data tracking methodologies across different markets.
      • Data-Driven Global Strategy: Partner with Product Managers and business leaders in different regions to understand their objectives and provide actionable insights that support strategic planning and product development globally.
      • Global Data Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with IT and Quality teams to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all regions.
      • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, data analysis techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance data insights capabilities globally and drive innovation within the organization.

      Experience

      • Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in an online transaction or e-commerce setting, with a global focus.
      • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
      • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI to create compelling and interactive visualizations.
      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, global team environment.

      Skills & Knowledge

      • Strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in different regions.
      • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
