      Global Emerging Markets Desk comprises a multitude of businesses spanning across Emerging Markets, covering multiple asset classes and financial product types. The desk includes functions like Structuring of financial instruments, Sales & Trading Enablement, Risk & Portfolio Analysis

      The role requires the candidate to work with Structurers and Traders across Emerging Markets with a focus on financing and hedging solutions in the Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) region for sovereign, financial institutions and corporate clients. A successful candidate will be based in London and working with the broader CEEMEA team (with Sales colleagues across the CEEMEA region) and various Local Markets on multiple tasks and projects and contributing to revenue generation.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Be a key member for transaction execution, from deal inception to financial close. This will include active involvement in the internal approvals, pricing and documentation processes for structured financing opportunities in CEEMEA
      • Liaise with Sales and Trading team as part of the trade pitching and initial pricing process (and profitability assessment), including drafting of marketing materials, term sheets, spreadsheet models and internal credit memos
      • Deal approval process (including credit committees), deal execution, spanning sponsor and management team engagement, negotiation, and structuring
      • Engage with partners across the Deutsche Bank franchise as part of trade origination process
      • Mentor Analysts and Interns/Graduates

      Your skills and experience

      • A degree in Finance, Economics (or relevant work experience)
      • Good understanding of financial markets, financing and risk mitigating structures, with previous experience in structuring and documenting transactions considered beneficial
      • Experience in derivatives pricing technology, corporate credit analysis including financial modelling skills with good knowledge of investment banking and capital markets products
      • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      • Strong written and oral communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of different teams and professionals in a fast-paced environment
