Job Summary:

Citi Global Wealth Management is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Head of Gen AI Solutions. This role is pivotal in advancing our AI capabilities, driving innovation, and delivering scalable AI solutions that enhance client experiences and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a talented team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and champion the integration of AI across our wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Gen AI strategy, aligning with Citi Global Wealth Management’s goals and objectives.

- Innovation and Development: Lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions, including large language models and advanced machine learning algorithms.

- Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, technology, and client-facing teams to identify AI opportunities, drive initiatives, and ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.

- Client Engagement: Enhance client experiences by leveraging AI to deliver personalized insights, recommendations, and services at scale.

- Operational Efficiency: Implement AI-driven automation and optimization to improve operational processes and achieve significant productivity gains.

- Thought Leadership: Represent Citi at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning Citi as a leader in AI-driven wealth management solutions.

- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all AI solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and Citi’s governance policies.

Qualifications:

- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of leading AI initiatives in a financial services or wealth management context.

- Deep expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and AI technologies.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to align AI initiatives with business objectives.

- Deep knowledge of wealth management products, services, and client needs.

- Experience with regulatory compliance and governance in the financial services industry.

- Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver AI solutions that create tangible business value.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms and AI/ML frameworks.
