  Global Head of Indirect Procurement and Services - Your future position?

  The Procurement team for Indirect Materials and Services (IM&S) works together with partners and suppliers to deliver the best for Givaudan. The Team is driving the 2025 IM&S procurement strategy for their respective categories and regions to achieve our five procurement strategic pillars: Fueling Performance, People, Simplification, Business Continuity, and Sustainability.

  You will establish a clear company vision for indirect spend globally with focus on value creation and bottom line- aligned with the strategy 2025 goals. You will lead Regional Heads and Senior Global Category Managers and manage an experienced, efficient, diverse and performance-driven IM&S organization.

  You will be based in either Vernier or Kemptthal and reporting to Chief Procurement and Sustainability Officer.

  Multiple location: Vernier (Switzerland), Kemptthal (Switzerland)

  You will:

  • Establish and implement a global strategy for indirect materials and services procurement within Givaudan to manage spend as effectively as possible.
  • Work with IM&S organization and partners to ensure strategy is understood, adapted to requirements and gives transparency of spend, compliance and performance.
  • Oversee the establishment and delivery of IM&S savings targets.
  • Promote compliance through the development and follow-up of corporate IM&S policies.
  • Provide guidance and aligned goals to the regional IM&S teams and senior global category managers.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to IM&S Regional Managers and Category Managers along with development, training and promotion opportunities based on performance.
  • Develop solid succession plans and stand-out leaders for main positions within the IM&S organization
  • Develop collaboration across regions within the IM&S procurement organization.
  • Develop team capability so that the local and regional teams act as valued partners for their partners.
  • Sponsor Scope 3 roadmap for IM&S.
  • Represent IM&S in Sustainable Operations Steerco and ensure projects move forward.
  • Represent the IM&S procurement function with main partners
  • Foster collaboration between global, regional and local procurement and main regional partners by ensuring transparency, understanding needs and agreement.
  • Follow up with business leaders and departments in the event of any non-compliance

  You?

  • Master degree required / Business Administration, Engineering, and others
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Procurement/Commercial or OPS organisations
  • 10 + years track record in indirect procurement roles
  • 7-10 yrs proven leadership experience in an international environment, managing global teams
  • Fluent in English, other languages a +
  • Experience with procurement systems
  • Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on people management
  • Cultural awareness
  • Can form and grow own networks.
  • Change management skills – track record in managing culture and complex transformations
