- This high-influence position will interface with Associates at all levels and functions across the business. This includes corporate, global, regional, and local Associates; TLT leadership teams, and other senior leaders.
- Active member of the Mars Wrigley Supply Leadership Team.
- Strong partnership with Regional Supply VPs.
- Robust collaboration with Regional MSE Directors and Regional and Global IE.
- 10 to 15 years business experience, including broad supply chain functional expertise.
- Deep understanding and demonstrated ability to apply CI (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc) principles. Understanding of how the principles impact the entire supply chain (i.e. order to cash cycles).
- Demonstrated experience implementing TPM or IWS principles in a large, complex CPG environment.
- Designs, implements and ensures continuous improvement of the Mars Wrigley Supply Excellence program.
- Shape the Mars Wrigley Supply Excellence culture across Supply by inspiring leaders and actively promoting and facilitating the use of continuous improvement - CI methods to support new and existing operations focused on the people experience.
- Conducts systems health assessment and work closely with regions to close gaps.
- Indirectly leads Regional MSE Directors to influence and drive change through data-driven CI, Engineering, Automation, and capability-building efforts to deliver higher levels of performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, growth, and Associate Engagement, skills and competencies.
- Work with regional, global, and corporate leaders to establish continuous improvement goals and act as a liaison with finance to build CI budgets and validate actual improvement results.
- Ensures standardization, captures best practices globally and ensures consistent deployment of new and better ways of working.
- Brings the outside-in to ensure Mars is operating at the leading edge of Lean/TPM/Six Sigma evolution.
- Coaches and provides support to key leaders to in driving change of CI programs, processes, mindsets, and behaviors.
- Establishes and runs governance forums to manage change.
- Facilitates regular Performance Reviews with Regional MSE and Operations leadership and monitors metrics.
- Secure the appropriate business sponsorship for allocated improvement projects.

Global Head of MSE
London or Chicago
The purpose of the Global Head of MSE role is to ensure Mars Wrigley has a ‘best in class’, fit-for-purpose and outcome-focused continuous improvement program and structure in place.
This role will assess, develop, plan and implement strategies/solutions to ensure:
- meaningful standardization
- impactful integration and acceleration of current program
- sustainable capability building
In addition to the holistic program capability, there are currently two main areas of acceleration: Focused Improvement and Education & Training Pillar capability and future-back set-up.
