Centred around trading, data management, media partnerships and global agency network coordination, Amplifi is a global function overseeing the worldwide media investment of all dentsu media brands like Carat, iProspect & dentsuX.

      Purpose of the Role

      We’re looking for an Investment Director for our global investment team to lead the process of delivery of media productivity commitments for a selection of key global clients.

      Working in this global role you will have frequent exposure to senior internal stakeholders, 3rd party auditors and senior procurement clients. Reporting into the Senior Investment Director, this role involves coordinating dentsu’s global investment network, managing 2 direct reports and actively managing value delivery and investment risk mitigation for a selection of Dentsu clients.

      The role also includes involvement in international new business pitches.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Working closely with the Senior Investment Director in the Global Investment team, local agency investment and client teams, client stakeholders and 3rd party auditors to ensure investment KPI delivery on existing clients and for new business pitches.

      • Driving and tracking the investment KPIs of all dedicated global accounts to manage the process around delivery of Performance Related Incentive Payments (PRIPs).

      • Supporting and coaching a team of 2 to ensure they are clear on objectives, priorities, and commitment deliverables.

      • Daily management of workload and communication internally, on a global and local level, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting and investment KPIs.

      • Managing relationships with senior media auditors to develop a collaborative relationship with their operational teams.

      • Driving innovation and thought leadership for media discipline in the field of investment management and proactively suggesting these to senior clients.

      • Presenting productivity performance summaries to senior client stakeholders.

      Qualifications + Skills

      • Demonstrable experience in the advertising/media industry (agency/client/auditor) within a buying/trading/investment role at an international level.

      • Demonstrable experience in managing media auditor relationships and an ability to provide the local teams the support to clarify, question and defend their local performance in an audit at a local and central level.

      • Expert knowledge of all media types and their trading and measurement practices at an international level, plus a good understanding of local nuances.

      • You have a proven ability to co-ordinate and manage projects, involving numerous stakeholders, markets, time zones. You can foster collaboration between and across markets, regions, and disciplines.

      • Having a strong command of Excel; be the team’s Excel lead by being able to construct formulas, work with links, debug technical issues, and work across several templates simultaneously.

      • Line management experience - developing and supporting more junior colleagues, ensuring that they are working to their full potential.
