- Driving improvements in worldwide process and infrastructure supporting safety and welfare in small animal transport.
- Creating and launching new delivery paradigms, offerings, and standards.
- Leading cross-functional teams to develop and improve internal and external processes.
- Providing exceptional and timely communications and support.
- BA/BS Degree preferred, plus a minimum of 2 years (6-8 preferred) of experience in Logistics or similar capacity.
- Demonstrated mastery and extensive experience in logistics engineering and supply chain optimization.
- Strong proficiency in advanced data analytics and predictive modeling tools for logistics optimization.
- Proven ability to contribute to the development and execution of global supply chain and logistics strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills for managing relationships with vendors, carriers, and logistics service providers.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics projects from conception to implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade compliance regulations and expertise in ensuring compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex logistics strategies and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies and solutions in logistics engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in leading strategic initiatives, internship programs, and providing mentorship to junior team members.
- Animal Care experience at Supervisor level or higher will be required for approx. 30% of team members

Responsibilities:
Please note: Although the majority of work is performed on a daytime M-F schedule, this position rotates 24/7 on-call coverage for emergencies (5-person rotation), and includes periodic offsite audits, sometimes conducted overnight and on weekends.
This position is fully remote but will require travel once every six weeks.
The salary range is $63,744 - $106,723. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
