What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create open lines of communication with storage, manufacturing, and transportation partners
- Manage inventory, including slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and improve destruction processes
- Monitor transportation lanes and ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements
- Utilize the Transportation Management System and analyze transportation master data
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party warehouses and carriers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. degree in Operational Management/Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar with 4+ years of experience
- Experience working in a global logistics/transportation function
- Knowledge of global trade principles and methods of shipment
- Experience working with outsourced transportation and warehousing providers
- Strong understanding of master data in the transportation industry
