- Act as a Resource Manager accountable for engineering, designs & architecture that meet or exceed business requirements within the Network LAN, WAN, Core Services & Network Security
- Maintain relationship and connectivity with Network Operations & Delivery and their activities
- Prioritize and assign global resources to frame out delivery of solutions and transition on going delivery to Network Delivery or Operations teams as necessary
- Drive the development, validation, and delivery of automation into the Network space
- Maintain relationship and connections with business relationship managers to ensure current and future business needs are incorporated into the Network Strategy
- Support operational teams during the implementation of new processes and policies, offering direction and guidance when needed
- Manage, report, and communicate on the global performance of the network engineering team
- Provide coaching and mentoring, communicate job expectations and assess performance and results
- Establish a collaborative work environment that fosters innovation, empowerment, and personal growth
- Participate in the development and implementation of IT global strategies set by senior management
- Foster, develop & maintain relationships with key vendors across the networking landscape
- Research & understand emerging technologies that can be leveraged in the networking environment
- Working understanding of Cloud & Co-Lo technologies and connectivity mechanisms to support business growth & flexibility
- Become a fiduciary of the networking space; managing & supporting key budgeting functions necessary to ongoing efforts of the networking team
- Be an escalation point for resolving resource and priority conflicts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years of Infrastructure experience, preferred networking discipline, with at least 3+ years of leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of network design, engineering, and architecture principles, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, cross-functional teams & external partners
- Good working knowledge of an ITSM tool (preferably Service Now).
- Experience building, developing and empowering teams/individuals
- Demonstrated ability to influence change in a global organization
- Experience delivering results in a highly matrixed environment
- Working experience in WAN, LAN, Core and Network Security

Global Network Engineering Manager
Position Responsibilities
The Global Network Engineering Manager is accountable for the development, design & architecture of network solutions globally. In this role, you will lead a team of technical experts and is responsible for partnering with other IT functional teams to support and design both operational and project-based work activities. Additionally, you will work closely with both regional business and IT stakeholders to approve and implement new projects, enhancements, and support to existing network infrastructure. As a leader, you will build and develop a high-performing internal team while working closely with vendors and internal teams, when appropriate, to ensure agreed service levels are being met for network design & engineering.
