      COMPANY OVERVIEW

KKR & Co. Inc., together with its subsidiaries, is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management and capital markets and insurance solutions. KKR aims to generate attractive investment returns by following a patient and disciplined investment approach, employing world-class people, and supporting growth in its portfolio companies and communities. KKR sponsors investment funds that invest in private equity, credit and real assets and has strategic partners that manage hedge funds. KKR’s insurance subsidiaries offer retirement, life and reinsurance products under the management of The Global Atlantic Financial Group.

      POSITION DESCRIPTION

KKR is building out an enterprise data group to collect, manage, and harness the power of data across our diverse portfolio investments. Reporting into the Global Markets Operations team, this group will help ensure all KKR data is accessible, consumable, and drive the curation of insights across the organization.

The KKR Data Operations group is seeking an experienced data management professional to join KKR’s ESG Data Operations function. Reporting directly to KKR’s Head of ESG Data Operations, this is an opportunity to take ownership of KKR’s ESG Data Reporting needs, which is integral to the success and growth of the business.

Strategic, analytical, innovative and collaborative, this team member will cover all ESG Reporting needs for KKR’s Portfolio (initially focused on Private Markets). This reporting includes, but is not limited too, client-facing materials, internal stakeholder dashboards, and reporting back to Portfolio Companies on their ESG performance. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Business Intelligence tools, working knowledge of SQL, and some experience working with ESG Data.

This is a full time role based onsite in the KKR Gurugram office.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Assist in organizing and presenting ESG data in a meaningful way; preparing reports in a scalable & repeatable manner
      • Work with stakeholders across KKR (Public Affairs, Operations, Investment Teams, Client-facing Teams, etc.) to understand ESG Data needs and determine solutions to satisfy requirements
      • Respond to any ad-hoc requests for ESG Data by building scalable solutions to make data as “self-service” as possible.
      • Implement and own best in class data governance practices; ensuring that data is well defined & transparently documented (what data exists, where does it exist, and how is it being used)
      • Collaborate with engineering and IT to support and make recommendations for enhanced digital reporting capabilities and additional automation
      • Work closely with Sustainable Investing Team to implement ESG data-related projects that help drive portfolio and asset-level decision-making.
      • Point of contact for data-related questions and updates from various internal and external groups, delivering ad-hoc analytics to answer key business questions in a timely manner
      • Drive and support development of advanced analytical capabilities

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Advanced analytical & data visualization capabilities (with proficiency in using Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools to support those analyses & data visualizations) required
      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or other related fields; and/or 4-6years of relevant industry experience
      • Strong technical skills in data querying & manipulation; must have advanced (expert) Excel skills and at least mid-level SQL querying abilities (selects, joins, etc.) – comfort with large sets of poorly structured data. Working knowledge of Python a plus
      • Significant experience using VBA to automate and scale solutions in Excel
      • Capable of, and interested in, developing a deep understanding of the business to play a key strategic role
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented with strong analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with qualitative insight
      • Collaborative and active contributor, with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude in a fast-paced environment
      • Maturity and sound judgment, exhibiting an ability to thrive in cross-functional and cross-business unit settings
      • Proven ability to manage demands of multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle competing priorities while remaining connected to the details
      • High level of intellectual curiosity, accountability, and drive; self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
      • Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrum
      • Experience working with ESG Data in a Public or Private Markets setting
      • Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate a plus
