      About the role

      The Product Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing new and/or existing postbiotics products. She or he will be working closely with business and R&D stakeholders to evolve and develop new and existing generations for this product line, including clinical studies for new geographies, applications (human & pet), life stages, new licensing, and organic innovation workstreams via Product Line Strategy development and execution.

      What would you do?

      • CEO of the product line ensuring flawless end-to-end execution and P&L accountability
      • Product line management for all existing and future postbiotics ingredients within ProActive Health’s Bioactives portfolio, including those acquired via licensing.
      • Develop and manage product strategies and guide business planning for future positioning and growth of ProActive Health ingredients.
      • Assist in identifying and developing effective promotional and sales tools, and collateral marketing pieces. Coordinate communications activities and plans with Sales, Marketing, and other global stakeholders to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
      • Perform market research; define market trends, investigate customer needs, customer requirement and product specification in collaboration with Marketing and Commercial teams
      • Work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth through internal contacts and development, ensuring flawless end-to-end execution for the product line.
      • Extensive partnering with the R&D, Commercial (Business Development, Sales) and Marketing teams to identify and create opportunities within our current and future portfolio that resonate with brands and consumers.
      • Develop, support, and participate in trainings related to the product line
      • In partnership with Proactive Health supply chain team, managing supply and demand plan
      • Commercialization of the licensed postbiotic technologies, managing licensing partners – reporting performance etc.
      • Upon commercialization of the technologies, driving the global pipeline for the business across the regions in close partnership with business development and sales – including licensed ingredients.
      • Pricing management in collaboration with ProActive Health Finance team
      • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and assisting in the field with customer visits, tradeshow events, customer business reviews etc.

      Qualifications and skills

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Similar.
      • 5-7 years experience in dietary supplements, probiotics, life sciences,
      • Displays a passion for health and wellness technologies used in the food, beverage, and dietary supplements.
      • Commercially driven, business minded professional with strong execution skills, and ability to adopt a strategic approach
      • Product management experience is a significant advantage
      • Industry knowledge and credibility, ideally working with global exposure.
      • Availability to travel up to 25% of time, globally
      • Proven experience of successfully working with cross-functional regional or global teams, and working directly with customers
      • Ability to evaluate multiple complex ideas and align others around a recommended course of action; strong communicator to share vision and plans with others.
      • Creativity to distill customer requirements, understand competitive strengths and weaknesses, and then develop compelling value propositions.
