      The Data Center Security Strategy, Oversight, and Risk Programs Team is looking for a Global Program Manager who will provide global security solutions to our operational security teams in all regions. The team provides an array of program support under the component pillars of 1/physical security engineering innovation, 2/threat and risk assessment and products, and 3/documentation and communication. The position will work across the business, globally, and in partnership with Security Managers and will also collaborate with other AWS Security and Data Center Operations teams in developing the solutions that improve data center safety, security, and efficiency.



      Key job responsibilities
      Monitor and maintain program mechanisms and tooling for customer and stakeholder intake and outreach.
      Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
      Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve Data Center Security programs and processes.
      Implement and document improvements or modifications related to new and existing Data Center Security programs and processes.

      A day in the life
      A Global Program Manager on the Data Center Security Strategy, Oversight and Risk Programs Team spends their day developing and executing strategic programs supporting the physical security mission with partners around the world. Each global program manager is responsible for one or more global programs, depending on complexity.

      About the team
      The Data Center Security Strategy, Oversight and Risk Programs Team is embedded in the Data Center Safety and Security Global organization and directly supports the Data Center Physical Security Operations organization. The team provides an array of program support under the component pillars of 1/physical security engineering innovation, 2/threat and risk assessment and products, and 3/documentation and communication.

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      Atlanta, GA, USA | Austin, TX, USA | Chicago, IL, USA | Dallas, TX, USA | Denver, CO, USA | Herndon, VA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA- 3+ years of program or project management experience
      - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
      - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
      - Experience defining and executing program requirements
      - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
      - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
      - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
      - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
      - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
      - Operational or project/program management work experience in security, risk, or related fields.
      - Highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems.

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
