Job Description

- Develop and execute a global data and analytics strategy aligned with Dyson’s business objectives
- Continuously evaluate and, where suitable, build business cases to integrate emerging analytics technologies and trends to maintain Dyson’s position at the top of its categories
- Lead the ongoing creation, delivery and enhancement of the Revenue function’s near real-time commercial BI and analytics tools including Commercial Data Studio, Commercial Control Tower, Retention Control Tower and the various analytics tools – to empower decision-makers across the organisation
- Ensure that all tools are user-friendly, teams have access and know how to use them
- Develop advanced data analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning initiatives to create actionable insights that support maximising Dyson’s commercial performance
- Translate these insights into strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with other Dyson teams in Group, COEs and Markets (e.g. IT, Finance, Categories etc.) to address data, analytics and BI requirements
- Serve as a strategic partner to Group, COE and Market teams to support their ambitions to deliver exceptional commercial performance results
- Lead, mentor and inspire a diverse team of analysts, data engineers and data scientists across multiple regions
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation and data-driven decision making within the Group functions
- Oversee the continued development and maintenance of the commercial data infrastructure including data warehousing and all analytics platforms
- Collaborate with global and regional IT to ensure scalability, reliability and compatibility
- Establish and enforce robust data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity and security for all Commercial data
- Define and implement data standards, processes and best practices globally
- Ensure global data compliance with the relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, CDPA etc.)
- Maintain rigorous data security standards within the Group function
- Lead the integration / ingestion of prioritized required data sources
- Champion and deliver the roll-out use-cases to prove the business case for CDP
- Develop journey and audience analytics
- 15+ years’ proven track record and experience in using analytics, data and insight to drive a strategic business agenda
- Strong communication skills; an ability to build narratives from data and present findings to project teams & senior stakeholders – to drive actionable change for the better
- Hands-on analytics including GA360/4, Adobe analytics, GCP, Looker, SQL
- Working knowledge of media tagging (including UTM), Google Ads, Facebook Campaign Manager, Competitor Tools (SEMRush, SimilarWeb, Adthena etc).
- Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload whilst leading on multiple global projects

About The RoleAs Global Revenue Analytics Director, you will lead the global agenda for channel and commercial analytics at Dyson; ensuring data-driven decision making. You’ll lead a team of analysts in the global revenue function, supporting Dyson leadership and partnering with market functions and analysts in more than 30 markets, to meet and exceed Dyson’s ambitions through actionable data and insight. Success in this role requires excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, an ability to summarize results and present recommendations to business partners, project management skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Overall, you will be challenged to propose and execute new ideas and establish thought leadership and best practice across regions and markets.
To help achieve this, you’ll have a suite of world-class tools at your disposal including Adobe Analytics, GA4, Medallia DXA, Adthena, SimilarWeb, SEMRush and Nielsen along with Google Cloud Platform and Looker. You’ll also lead the deployment of Dyson’s chosen Customer Data Platform (CDP).
