      Job Summary:

      The Global Senior Finance Manager is a key finance position connecting GBU, RBU/RCO and SC teams to improve alignment in all major finance processes such as latest estimates, forecast- and budget cycles as well as the annual Goodwill and Strategic Planning activities. Further the position serves as a business partner to support the GBU- as well as the RCO-Finance structures with a globally harmonized and standardized set of reporting to reduce double work, set best practice standards and ensure the ‘one source of truth’ approach in our reporting environment. This means also development, training and implementation of PowerBI reports globally to leverage synergies in the finance team.

      For monthly MBR meetings the Global Senior Finance Manager is providing all relevant Top line and margin related analysis to the GBU Finance Lead and the GBU management team to support best possible understanding of results and supported by deeper analysis best possible decision taking.

      The position will also be a go to point for all kind of finance related GBU specific questions – these ad hoc and also recurring requests from GBU, RCO and other internal customers such as Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax and others will be channeled and replied in an efficient way.

      A very high level of communication skills and a highly proactive attitude is required to fill this important role since we strive for a constant improvement of GBU, RCO and SC alignment to constantly improve our budget and forecast quality and help to execute operational excellence.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Aligns driver in all relevant finance processes such as Latest Estimate, Forecast, Budget, Goodwill and Strategic Planning
      • Supports improvement in forecast and latest estimate accuracy
      • Drives harmonization and standardized financial reporting between GBU and RCO’s – supported by utilizing the Standard Global Reporting HUB
      • Supports finance and business teams with GBU specific month end, quarterly and full year reporting and analytics
      • Monthly MBR preparations focused on top line and margin
      • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, executing on organizational priorities and driving process standardization.
      • Drives alignment of financial outlook between Commercial and GBU especially in forecast and budget cycles with focus on Top Line and Margin
      • Increases Forecast Accuracy with supporting a high quality forecast. Further help to identify short- and mid-term risks and opportunities vs latest forecast scenarios at an early stage.
      • Drives Standardization and Harmonization of GBU specific Finance Reports to reduce double work in other Finance departments, establish a complete set of reporting to cover the Finance reporting needs for the GBU (ensure one source of truth).

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in (B.A./B.S.) Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline

      Years and Type of Experience:

      • 7+ years of Finance or Accounting Experience
      • Relevant work experience in the accounting or finance field
      • Experience working with consolidated financial data (actual, forecast, and budget) and financial models are preferred.

      Required Computer Skills:

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
      • Project Management and related software
      • Email and Internet applications

      The base salary and target annual incentive for this remote role is between $138,000 - $172,500. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
