      Sonos is currently seeking a Contract Manufacturing Manager that is responsible for the overall commercial and operational relationship of our strategic Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that enable Sonos' supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth. You will lead cross-functional efforts such as negotiating commercial agreements, costs and optimizing the collaboration between the teams and CMs ensuring quality, delivery, costs, lead-times and responsiveness objectives are met. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and robust supply chain.

      What You’ll Do...

      • Develop and lead global sourcing strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment and establishing global scalability.

      • Manage supplier relationships and successfully close complex negotiations including contract negotiations, statements of work, pricing, development and manufacturing support, among other terms

      • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirements

      • Actively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve it

      • Influence CM's manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in beneficial and sustainable ways

      • Comprehend the technical aspects of production and equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimization

      • Negotiate MVA, NRE and CaPEx costs to ensure best-in-class cost for our products

      • Create advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to improve supplier performance

      • Evaluate technical and business risks, analyze based on the data and create mitigation plans/alternatives

      • Lead complex engagements on supplier partnerships and strategies with Sonos' senior leadership

      • Collaborate with cross functional teams throughout development builds, end-to-end costs evaluation, supplier engagements, and all other items associated with executing a successful launch

      • Be able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in parallel

      Basic Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent

      • 7+ years work experience in sourcing related field

      • Top-notch negotiation skills

      • Experience in consumer electronics

      • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical techniques to problem solving

      • Strategic thinker and result oriented

      • Natural leadership competencies; influences cross functional teams through style and subject matter expertise

      • An ability to balance business and technical objectives in decision making

      • Ability to effectively work in multicultural global business environment

      Preferred Qualifications

      • MBA Preferred

      • Travel within US as well as internationally up to 20% of the time

      • Outstanding skills and proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with other functions including Engineering, Finance, Legal and other Supply Chain functions to ensure that cross-functional objectives are achieved

      At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience. All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between:

      $159,000 and $176,200

      Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
