      Global Trade & working capital solutions department is looking for a Supply Chain Finance product specialist based in our Boadilla del monte, Madrid office.

      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

      We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Global Supply Chain Finance team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of innovative solutions within the realm of Supply Chain Finance, including Confirming, Purchase Order Finance, Dynamic Discounting, Deep Tier Supply Chain Finance, among others.

      Responsibilities:

      • Product Development: Design, develop, and manage Supply Chain Finance products; identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of existing solutions
      • Research and Analysis:
        • Conduct market research to identify trends and needs; analyze data and customer feedback to improve products.
        • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.
      • Innovation:
        • Implement new technologies and methodologies; foster a culture of innovation; lead brainstorming sessions and workshops.
        • Apply / consider technology, innovation, and market trends in order to create / design new products for our existing and prospective clients.
      • Product execution: Ability to lead and execute end 2 end new product delivery – including but not limited to; ideation, business case, global strategy, book of work management (coordination, oversight with COO), new product approval (compliance and legal approach) oversight of execution and implementation, go to market strategy – with Origination teams, B&CF teams, PDM teams, clients, geographies, and wider SCIB stakeholders..
      • Origination & Product collaboration:
        • Strong Collaboration with Origination teams and dother areas of SCIB, both within Transactional banking and other areas (such as COO, Risk, PDM, Legal) to ensure product integration and functionality.
        • Building and prioritization of product development pipeline.
        • Support with approach for clients (material, meetings, RFPs, events)
        • Collaborate with external partners, fintechs/startups, and industry experts for innovative solutions.

      EXPERIENCE

      • At least 3-5 years of experience in front office in a financial institution or equivalent.
      • Experience in Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Payables or related will be valuable.

      EDUCATION

      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, engineering or a related field.
      • Desired Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

      SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

      Hard Skills

      • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Finance solutions such as Confirming, Purchase Order Finance, Dynamic Discounting, Deep Tier SCF, …
      • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and conduct market research.
      • Innovation Mindset: Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing new technologies or methodologies.
      • Others desired:
        • Experience / comfort with the application of one or someof the following themes, from a product development perspective: APIs, Blockchain / Digital Assets, Artificial intelligence, and platform-based products, ERPs (SAP, Oracle) or P2P platforms (Ariba, Coupa)
        • Experience / comfort with capital optimization structures
        • Experience with regulation as it relates to SCF, capital treatment, etc.

      This role requires the ability to travel internationally (when conditions permit) to meet with clients and attend conferences or seminars.
