      Job Summary

      To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Global Sustainability/ESG compliance specialist located in Guadalajara Site south.

      This position will support the company's sustainability/ESG customer-facing function, focusing on the compliance aspects of customer and regulation requirements.

      Responsibilities will include understanding and organizing international regulations and customer requests/requirements, integrating them into our sustainability strategy, coordinating and following up with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME), finding collaboration opportunities with both internal teams and customers, and accurately communicating our sustainability strategy.

      What a typical day looks like:

      • Monitor ESG global and local regulations, review customer contracts and our company management systems (including policies, process, and documentation) to ensure we are in alignment with Sustainability/ESG requirements.
      • Support the responses to our customers’ inquiries, including tracking and reporting on SMEs’ responses and commitments.
      • Develop and strengthen collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
      • Create and manage databases that support the data visibility to the SMEs
      • Making sure the sustainability/ESG information we share is accurate and we honor our commitments.

      Experience we are looking for to join our team:

      • Bachelor's degree in law, management, economics, sustainability management, or similar.
      • Experience in international regulation compliance and or sustainability.
      • Ability to understand, redline, and compose legal documents
      • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and persuasion skills
      • Ability to understand and communicate complex sustainability/ESG terms to people of different professional backgrounds.
      • Leadership skills to coordinate global and cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.
      • Interest and knowledge in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)/ Sustainability topics, experience in social, governance, human rights, and compliance aspects is preferred
      • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work on multiple tasks and within different teams.
      • Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team, both as a leader and a strong team player.
      • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently while being part of a team is also essential.
      • Strong computer skills with office applications, especially Microsoft Excel; Teams SharePoint experience is nice to have.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Experience researching, reviewing, and synthesizing multiple different sources (preferably with experience reviewing corporate sustainability reports, codes of conduct and contracts) of qualitative information into an evaluation of performance and cohesive case for action.
      • Fluency in English is a must.
