As a Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations, while promoting seamless exports for our business. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in training activities on regulations related to classification of goods, software, and technology, embargoed countries, license applications, denied parties screening, and document completion.
- Support the GTC Manager in assessing and auditing import and export compliance at various sites.
- Assist in resolving compliance issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide assistance to business units and work with legal counsel to address trade compliance matters.
- Coordinate with the global GTC team on process development, risk evaluation, and management of service providers.
Requirements:
- Validated experience in trade compliance focused on export or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong prioritization skills for managing multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical or scientific background.
- Experience in logistics.
- Experience in auditing.
- Experience in delivering training.
