      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with the Director of Governance to plan and execute Board meetings and manage governance documentation
      - Draft and distribute communications to Board members and the wider membership
      - Oversee the collection and maintenance of corporate records and meeting minutes for governance committees
      - Lead the annual elections process, coordinating communications and managing ballot distribution
      - Serve as a resource for governance-related inquiries from Board and committee members

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
      - 3–5 years of experience supporting governance functions or committee coordination in a nonprofit environment
      - Strong understanding of nonprofit governance best practices and familiarity with bylaws
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting formal documents
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collaboration tools

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles as they relate to governance
      - Experience supporting large boards or multi-committee structures
