- Primarily, update all Congressional and other stakeholder contacts in the Salesforce database daily.
- Capable of learning quickly and providing support in tracking digital data metrics through Salesforce, SendGrid, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other media tools.
- Have proficiency in summarizing materials and data -- international exchange and study abroad updates and industry issues.
- Analyze and update GAA marketing materials using yearly data.
- Learn and utilize with efficiency internal organizational and administrative tools, e.g. Microsoft Office, OneNote and Teams, Salesforce, Canva, SendGrid, etc.
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor's degree program. Preference given to those majoring in Political Science, Public Administration, International Affairs/Relations, English, Communications, Digital Media, Quantitative Social Science, and Computer Science.
- Must be a self-starter, reliably available, and able to work with minimal supervision and attend required weekly team meetings.
- Must be confident, communicate clearly, and demonstrate excellent judgment and intercultural competence, as well as possess proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be attentive to project details, work efficiently, and complete assignments by the deadline.
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation and implementation based on past work or school experience.
- Throughout the internship, must be available to participate in once or twice a week team meetings as scheduled Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm EST.

Reports to: Vice President, Government Affairs and Advocacy
Department: External Affairs
Location: US Remote
Length : 12 weeks, February 2 to May 1
Schedule: Up to 20 hours a week (flexible schedule with required attendance at weekly meetings during standard business hours (between 8 am and 5 pm EST)
Compensation: $22 per hour (less legally required deductions)

CIEE seeks two talented, high-energy, highly motivated, self-learners, and currently enrolled undergraduate students for remote work as a student intern. The Student Interns will assist the Vice President of Government Affairs and Advocacy and the Advocacy Manager in updating the Salesforce database daily; developing and supporting digital data tracking weekly; using SendGrid and other digital tools to send outreach monthly; and updating market materials using Canva.
