Conduct a review of DEN stakeholder wheel assets
Identify points of contact and historical information specific to key areas of work
Propose a timeline and description of purpose related to targeted engagement
Organize and analyze incoming queries and outcomes from local, state, and elected officials
Help develop and implement a system to track DEN appearances before City Council

At DEN, the Government Affairs & Global Public Policy Division (GAGPP) serves as a trusted leadership partner and provides enterprise-wide guidance, coordination and collaboration focused on multi-sector stakeholders and government officials to advance global strategy and innovation priorities. This includes formulating and communicating on policy matters at all levels (international, federal, state, regional, and local), leading DEN’s City Council approval process, and managing its memberships & sponsorships and state and federal lobbying contracts. In addition, GAGPP advises the Chief Executive Officer and Executive/Senior Leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities related to DEN’s future growth and strategy.

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model with a required minimum of three days in office. Employees work where needed to support business, at the Denver International Airport. We do not offer housing or relocation assistance for this position.
Internship Duration and HoursThis is a 6-month college internship with a completion date of December 27th, 2024, with a maximum of 35 hours per week.
FBI Background Check
FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
