      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Partner with the Senior Director of Public Affairs on legislative and government relations initiatives and strategies
      - Engage with lobbyists and stakeholders on federal, state, and local lobbying activities
      - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and support opportunities leveraging government affairs relationships
      - Provide education and support to internal teams regarding federal and state initiatives
      - Monitor policies and regulations relevant to the company’s interests and ensure compliance with lobbying disclosure laws

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 8 years of government affairs experience
      - Knowledge of healthcare management practices and clinical operations
      - Proficient understanding of state and federal regulatory environments related to healthcare operations
      - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
      - Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with trade organizations and lobbyists
      - Familiarity with healthcare policies and regulations
      - Previous engagement in public affairs or governmental relations roles
