What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the review, organization, and management of federal contracts (RFPs/RFQs, modifications, and deliverables)
- Ensure compliance by interpreting and applying FAR/DFAR regulations
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to optimize contract lifecycles
- Serve as a primary contact for government clients and internal leadership
- Analyze contract data to identify risks and support audit-readiness and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in contract management or legal/compliance fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government contract administration, ideally including GSA
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR, solicitation types, and federal acquisition strategy
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel - PivotTables/VLOOKUP, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background as a paralegal, legal analyst, or in compliance
- Membership in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
- Experience in clinical laboratories is a plus
