      Job summary

      Southgates and The Woottons Surgeries are based in King's Lynn and we have a long and proud history of excellent patient care.

      We are looking for a GP Assistant (GPA)/Secretary to join our friendly and professional medical Secretaries team.

      This is a permanent role for around 30 hours per week over 4 days.

      Main duties of the job

      The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as a level of competency in IT.

      Ideally you will be a team player who has a eye for detail and a love for admin, can demonstrate outstanding communication skills, initiative, can self motivate and can prioritise your own workload.

      Knowledge of some medical terminology would be advantageous.

      About us

      You would be part of a friendly & professional team of 8 Secretarial staff.

      The Practice has around 22,000 patients, so it is a busy but enjoyable working environment.

      Qualifications

      Essential

      • 3 GCSE's grade A to C, one of which to be English.
      • Secretarial/Admin experience.

      Desirable

      • GP/NHS Admin experience.
      • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
