      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct research on legal issues related to privacy and prepare written memorandums with analysis and recommendations
      - Assist attorneys in drafting regulations and supporting documents, including reviewing and organizing stakeholder comments
      - Analyze legislation and regulations impacting the agency
      - Support the maintenance of the Data Broker Registry and development of the Data Broker Delete mechanism
      - Process Public Records Act requests and assist with other public correspondence

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a current law student enrolled in a JD or LLM program
      - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
      - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
      - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
      - Must reside in California and perform all work within the state

      - Demonstrated interest in privacy, administrative, and/or government law
      - Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth, or a formerly incarcerated youth are encouraged to apply
