Job Description

Assist in the tracking and documentation of grant-funded activities across various programs.
Support the preparation and submission of required compliance and reimbursement reports under the direction of the Grants Manager.
Collaborate with the Grants Accountant to maintain accurate grant coding, expenditure documentation, and reconciliation.
Help monitor deadlines and deliverables related to post-award activities and ensure timely communications with internal teams and school clients.
Facilitate the documentation and organization of financial and programmatic data needed for audits and federal reporting.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and systems used for grant management.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience working with grants or in a nonprofit/educational finance setting.
Familiarity with accounting systems such as Intacct and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with clarity and professionalism.

Position Overview:
The Grant Specialist plays a critical support role within the Grants Department, assisting with the administration, coordination, and monitoring of federal, state, and local grant-funded programs.
