What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the post-award financial lifecycle for a diverse grant portfolio in compliance with funder regulations and institutional policies
- Monitor expenditures across multiple funding sources and recommend corrections for discrepancies
- Prepare and submit quarterly and final financial reports to funders, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Manage the full subaward lifecycle, including risk assessments and financial tracking for community-based subrecipients
- Provide tailored training and technical support to subrecipients regarding allowable costs and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on, post-award experience managing federal grants (e.g., NIH, CDC, BJA, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and its application in operations
- Direct experience managing multiple subrecipients, including reviewing invoices and providing compliance support
- Ability to communicate financial requirements clearly to non-financial community partners
- High degree of independence, initiative, and attention to detail, especially when working remotely

- Experience working with high-risk community-based subrecipients
- Familiarity with grant compliance issues and risk assessments
- Previous involvement in developing training materials or standard operating procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in a nonprofit or academic research setting
