      Description

      Position Summary:

      The Lead Graphic Designer position is responsible for ensuring that all marketing collateral including printed and email marketing, web design, and promotional products keep with company image and brand – as well as being accurate and correct within marketing compliance standards. The Lead Designer leads the design team and must ensure all work produced through the corporate marketing department promotes the company brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
      • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
      • Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality
      • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
      • Apply typography techniques
      • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
      • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
      • Liaise with others on the marketing team to ensure deadlines are met
      • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
      • Create and manage website graphics
      • Create marketing material that is effective and compliant using computer programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver, and Office suite.
      • Ensure necessary advertising disclaimers and disclosures are on all externally distributed collateral.
      • Assist in reviewing and respond to Quality Control audits or risk events.

      • Assists in preparing and sending out internal communication materials, as well as other administrative duties.
      • Help identify opportunities and makes recommendations for process improvements.
      • Catalog and file all materials in a logical and easily accessible manner.
      • Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of the company
      • Additional tasks as assigned

      Qualifications


      • Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
      • Portfolio of completed design projects
      • Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
      • Proficient in design software (e.g. InDesign and Balsamiq)
      • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
      • Attention to visual details
      • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
      • BS degree in Design, Visual Arts or equivalent work experience
