  Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly driven, digital-savvy Designer to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to our Creative Director, you will be a key player in our Creative Services team and responsible for supporting design/creative projects that support the Sunrise brand and mission. As a member of the marketing team, you will collaborate with marketing managers, copywriters, designers, and subject matter experts to successfully design multi-channel campaigns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail in every aspect of their design work, from initial concepts to final deliverables, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  Responsibilities:As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Every year, team members are assigned required training that applies to their role to ensure that these standards are always met. The unique responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the essential functions listed below:• Manage, protect, and support the Sunrise brand to ensure a cohesive message across all platforms.• Support brand development, including guidelines, positioning, voice/tone, and brand visuals.• Conceptualize, design, and produce multi-channel campaigns supporting Sunrise’s mission through various mediums, including marketing collateral, website, digital advertising, and more.• Develop creative ideas and concepts in partnership with a team of designers, copywriters, and marketing managers.• Support the overall digital UX strategy to continuously evolve company website.• Create visual PPT, email, and social templates for company-wide utilization with best practices.• Manage and execute tasks from start to finish.• Monitor marketplace trends as it relates to branding and evaluate new tools and processes related to branding and design.• Oversee the effective management of vendor relationships involved in providing branding consulting services and print management for the marketing department.• Other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.• Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related discipline.• 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, branding, or design agency/internal department.• Strong online portfolio showcasing both print and interactive design.• Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint).• Strong Knowledge UI/UX web design and concepts.• Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects a plus (HTML5/Cinemographs).• Copywriting experience a plus.• Experience managing external vendors.• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.• Ability to demonstrate strategic competency.• High detail orientation and highly organized.• Strategic thinker, flexible problem solver, and great listener.
