Crea te on-trend apparel graphics that support Gap’s seasonal messages and align with divisional design concepts
Understand and assist in identifying seasonal graphic trends and pr ovide analysis through online / in-s tore research, as well as gather relevant inspiration outside of apparel that speaks to over-arching aesthetic trends. Assist Senior graphic designer in authoring tools to communica te these trends to the cross-functional team.
Design into seasonal concepts that consider merchant roadmap, cost targets and consumer insight information.
Need to be self-directed and manage workload and time independently
Earn ownership of a specialized category within the division; driving creative concepts and presentations to graphics team leaders.
Produce and maintain graphic presentation boards for miles tone meetings in coordination with Senior Designer and director.
Identify opportunities for newness and inno v ation by utilizing the graphic trend forecast when creating graphic content and the e xecution of relative graphic techniques.
Prepare and maintain graphic artwork production files as needed against seasonal miles tones and pipeline production consider ations.
R eview production samples to ensure quality and accur a te e xecution of production.
Present design e xecutions to cross functional partners during product r evie ws.
BA Graphic Design preferred, or equivalent experience
3-7 years apparel graphics experienc e.
Knowledge of graphics production (e.g., printing methods, apparel graphic techniques, etc.).
Strong computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, Miro, Clo, etc.)
Strong hand skills (Illustration, painting, drawing)
Strong time management, interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Strong sense of image and type
