Job Description

- Build and manage schedules for day-to-day lab activities
- Review and approve test notes, specifications, and analytical test reports
- Represent the group at inspections conducted by clients and regulatory bodies
- Primary point of communication with the team
- Distribution of projects and continuous improvement tasks and track progress
- Review and approve lab employee training
- Continuously identify more effective ways to drive performance
- Effectively manage performance of direct reports
- Support and manage CAPEX-related processes, where applicable
- Contribute to site growth initiatives by supporting strategic and operational projects
- Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science
- Several years of experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical QC laboratory preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams with respect, diplomacy, and integrity
- Is experienced in GMP and GDP
- Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on, detailed work, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate high standard of ethics, integrity and professionalism
