      Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Group Lead Management Coordinator in the Inside Sales. The Inside Sales team works primarily with a managed base of clientele, including corporate, government, and group specific accounts to drive incremental room nights and revenue to our hotels. The Group Coordinator sources and responds to Group RFPs (leads) on behalf of Franchisees through a variety of distribution channels for ten or more rooms and extended stay projects working in partnership with the Global Sales team.

      Your Responsibilities

      • Pipeline management - qualifying and taking ownership of incoming leads.

      • Sales – develop, negotiate, and present compelling and competitive proposals.

      • Sources hotels by identifying locations to fit client’s needs.

      • Client services and relationship management providing exceptional support to Global Sales and Choice account base.

      • Special projects - supporting seasonal disaster coverage for corporate customers, assists with continuous improvement initiatives and helps develop solutions to improve service delivery.

      Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

      • Two+ years’ experience in sales or customer service required.

      • Prior experience in the hotel industry, hospitality, or related field, is highly preferred.

      • Ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency in a sales driven culture.

      • Strong verbal, written and listening skills, to ensure effective communication with customers, hotels, and associates.

      • Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor.

      • Strong critical thinking skills, quality focus and attention to detail.

      • Goal oriented, focused on achieving results and self-motivated.

      • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

      • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

      • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

      • Ability to develop and manage successful internal and external relationships.

      This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Inside Sales. You will have nine peer teammate (s) and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

      Your Work Location

      As our Group Lead Management Coordinator, you will be remote based and have a home office setup with equipment provided to you by Choice Hotels.
