      JELD-WEN is seeking a Group Lead - Production to join our growing team.

      About JELD-WEN: We are one of the world's largest door and window manufacturers, with over 22,000 employees across 24 countries. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, we design, produce, and distribute a wide range of interior and exterior doors, windows, and related products.

      Responsibilities include:

      1. Ensuring safety and productivity of employees on shift
      2. Coordinating work activities with management
      3. Participating in continuous improvement processes
      4. Reading and interpreting production schedules
      5. Maintaining facility security and safety procedures
      6. Training and coaching employees
      7. Investigating incidents
      8. Performing warehouse duties such as inspecting loads, checking documents, and inventory counts
      9. Operating machines and preparing doors for production
      10. Staging and packaging finished products

      Experience Preferred:

      • Commercial machine operation experience
      • Experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
      • Knowledge of building materials
      • Ability to perform measurements and math calculations
      • Strong communication skills
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

      Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.
