Job Description

- Greet visitors at the LVCC Administrative Offices promptly and professionally.
- Operate a multiline phone system to answer and transfer calls.
- Provide information about events at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the greater Las Vegas area.
- Research information on the internet and other media to obtain relevant information for customers.
- Respond to emails professionally with accurate information.
- Assist with sending correspondence for on-call Guest Information Agents.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to:
- Demonstrate a commitment to valuing differences among individuals and being inclusive
- Effectively communicate through oral and written communication in English
- Learn new software programs
- Retain and follow specific guidelines, rules, and policies
- Answer a wide range of incoming phone calls from the general public
- Work during regular business hours Monday through Friday with the flexibility of nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Speak a second language is highly desirable
- Provide information about the Las Vegas Convention Center and the greater Las Vegas area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred

The Guest Experience Specialist (On-Call) will provide a positive guest experience in person and over the phone at the Las Vegas Convention Center administrative offices. This position delivers extraordinary service and information about the greater Las Vegas area.What You’ll Do:
