What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth
- Apply underwriting concepts to assess risk selection, exposure, and loss analysis
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve profitability, retention, and new business goals
- Build and maintain relationships with agents and stakeholders to enhance account decision-making
- Prepare and analyze information on underwriting decisions and company performance measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-7+ years of experience in Specialty or standard commercial lines
- 3-4+ years of experience in driving agency relationships for profitable business outcomes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external partners
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed business decisions

- Familiarity with insurance performance measures and financial reporting
- Proven ability to build trust and negotiate effectively with agents
